Founded in 1949, Kyung Hee University has established an academic tradition that combines education, research, and practice while pursuing the universal values of peace and mutual prosperity. Since its foundation, Kyung Hee University has spearheaded the Global Common Society Movement, established the International Association of University Presidents and the United Nations International Day of Peace, received the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education, and organized the 1999 Seoul International Conference of NGOs. It has 3 campuses (Seoul, Global, and Gwangneung). Seoul campus has 245 acres wide, global campus has an area of 510 acres, while Gwangneung has 12 acres wide. Kyunghee has 86 departments of graduate program, 4 professional schools, and and 11 special graduate schools (evening classes). In 2015, Kyunghee has 24.569 undergraduate students, 6.884 graduate and professional school students, 3.135 graduate school students, and 1.495 academic staffs

How can I get the recommendation letter?
Applicants have to contact head of the department (contact information at guideline). Then,
having individual interview with him/her and get a recommendation
letter. In the recommendation letter, department chair signature must be
included. However, some departments (Korean Language & Literature
(Korean linguistics), English Language & Literature, Political Science,
International Trade, Journalism and Communication, Business Administration,
Hotel Management, Tourism Science, Convention & Exhibition Management,
Culinary Science and Food Service Management, Music, Fine Art) which execute
the interview are not necessary to prepare recommendation letter.
What is post-admission timeline?
Please explain the enrollment process in chronological order.
After pass, admission procedure is as
follows.
1. Check admission announcement / print out letter of admission
2. Print out tuition bill during the registration period and make a payment at the assigned bank account
3. Reply 'VISA issuing guideline' e-mail that graduate school office sends
4. Receive 'Certificate of Admission' (Domestic residents: receive it from Graduate Administrative office, International residents: Graduate Administrative office sends it by EMS)
5. Apply for the VISA : Call the institution related to VISA, asking about the required documents and apply for the VISA
1) Domestic residents : Visit Immigration Office
2) International residents (except Chinese) : Visit embassy
6. Registration for classes
