Childhood

Day 18 Challenge in May! (Re : July)
"Tell a story from your childhood. Dig deep and try to be descriptive about what you remember and how you felt."

I want to apologize, I was late for 7 days since my last post about the challenge in May. There is some problems... err I can't tell a lie to you. Truthfully, I had no idea about my childhood so I have to post another topic, hehehe. Okay fellas, today's topic is childhood memory. I won't tell everything about my childhood. It will take a long time to write down all of my memory here. Today, I'll tell you about my childhood with my friends, about my daily activity, friendship and the others.

My childhood was awesome, I had surrounded by a bunch of girls. Please calm, I'm not a bad person, haha. That's because my neighbours who has the same age with me was a girl, all of them. There is no another boy here. So I played with girls everyday, every time, everything that I did always related with them. Play an ankle game, hide and seek and soccer. I always with them. There is 5 girls in my village. They are Dina, Wanda, Sherly, Fitri, and Banin. Okay, I'll introduce them one by one. Dina and Fitri was maduranese. Sherly was Chinese. Wanda was Javanese and Banin was Arabic. Each of them has a unique manners. We spent our days with played together after school time.

Since we have our different manners, sometimes we had misunderstanding. For the only boy like me, I place my self in the middle and I won't protecting one of them. I always stay to be fair, we always find the solution about our problems together. The best part of our childhood was in ramadhan. When ramadhan we always going to the mosque together, looking for a snack after tarawih, playing firecrackers after sahur time and spending our time during the day to play monopoly.

After several years, now we have diferent ways to build our life. Dina working in cosmetic company. Banin have her own clothes shop in Ampel. Sherly working in some company. Wanda haven't working until now. and just like me, Fitri studying in university.

unfortunately, I do not have any photo of their childhood. May be later I 'll post their photos.

How to Identify a Psychopath

Hi there ! How are you today ? Fine ? I hope so~

Today I'll post about Psychology Studies. Since my cousins was a student in psychology department of Airlangga University. She tell me some ways to identify a psycopath. Did you know that 'psychopathy checklist' was initially developed to assess the mental condition of people who commit crimes ? the methods called 'Hare Psychopathy Checklist', and it’s commonly used to diagnose people who may exhibit the traits and tendencies of a psychopath. Most mental health professionals define a psychopath as a predator who takes advantage of others using charm, deceit, violence and other methods to get what they want. Identify a psychopath by using the Hare Psychopathy Checklist and trusting your own intuition (you' ll need some training for it).

1. Look for glib and superficial charm. A psychopath will also put on what professionals refer to as a "mask" of sanity that is likeable and pleasant.

2. Look for a grandiose self perception. Psychopaths will often believe they are smarter or more powerful than they actually are.

3. Watch for a constant need for stimulation. Stillness, quiet and reflection are not things embraced by psychopaths. They need constant entertainment and activity.

4. Determine if there is pathological lying. A psychopath will tell all sorts of lies; little white lies as well as huge stories intended to mislead.

5. Evaluate the level of manipulation. All psychopaths are identified as cunning and able to get people to do things they might not normally do. They can use guilt, force and other methods to manipulate.

6. Look for any feelings of guilt. An absence of any guilt or remorse is a sign of psychopathy. Remember I was using a words "any" here. it's mean that "there is no". It's may be the same as "every". But "any" is used for negative thing. Many of Indonesian has misunderstanding about this word.

7. Consider the affect or emotional response a person has. Psychopaths demonstrate shallow emotional reactions to deaths, injuries, trauma or other events that would otherwise cause a deeper response

8. Look for a lack of empathy. Psychopaths are callous and have no way of relating to non-psychopaths

9. Take a look at the person's lifestyle. Psychopaths are often parasitic, meaning they live off other people.

10. Talk about goals. Psychopaths have unrealistic goals for the long term. Either there are no goals at all, or they are unattainable and based on the exaggerated sense of one's own accomplishments and abilities.

11. Look at whether the person is impulsive or irresponsible. Both those characteristics are evidence of psychopathy.

12. Consider whether the person can accept responsibility. A psychopath will never admit to being wrong or owning up to mistakes and errors in judgment.

"I have found it easier to identify with the characters who verge upon hysteria, who were frightened of life, who were desperate to reach out to another person. But these seemingly fragile people are the strong people really." - Tennessee Williams

Surabaya Night Cruise !

Hi everyone... nice to meet you again. I'm so glad that you still want to come again to visit my blog, hehehe. Today I'll post about Surabaya Night Cruise. We will explore Surabaya again. Such a nightstalker isn't it ? as your information that Surabaya is the second of the biggest city in Indonesia after Jakarta. Peoples called it 'Surabaya Night Life'. Why peoples called it like that ? Well, there is some reasons about it. First, there's some place that always open for 24 hours. Second, there is some place that only open at night until dawn. Third, there is some place that always crowded. Forth, There is some place which start open at dawn time.

First, we went to Monkasel, the biggest submarine monument in asia.  there is a huge submarine and wide park behind it. Peoples called it skate-park because there is skate-play ground. It's located in the center of Surabaya. it was a living museum where visitors are free to run around alone to pull, press & bang on anything within reach. Turning the hatches of the torpedo tubes, looking for the torpedo launch buttons & standing on the command deck barking out orders, it’s every man-child’s fantasy. Obviously it is old, no country would actually put on display a new advanced stealth submarine for children to run around on.

Second, we went to Bazar, it looks similar with a little market but it's not a daily market. It's only open if there is a big even held such as independence day. In Bazar we have everything. especially everything that related with food. started from traditional food until modern food. Some registration process is needed to open a stan.

Third, we went to chinese store at Kapasan st. which located in north of Surabaya. Chinese store sell chinese food and traditional medicine. Some of chinese store sell home furnishings such as red candle, incense, chinese sculpture, etc. There is two chinese store in Surabaya (as I known). Kapasan Chinese Store and Kya-kya.

Taman Bungkul was the forth place that we had visited last night. It's a park which located in the middle of Surabaya. It's located 3 miles from Monkasel. There is so many people gather around here. Even it just a park, Taman Bungkul have a high security. a group police always patrol outside the park.

The last was Rawon Setan which located at Embong Malang st. Rawon setan means "Rawon which cooked by an evil". It was a famous restaurant in Surabaya that sell rawon which is the one of Indonesian food. In the beginning Rawon Setan open from 23.00 PM until 04.00 Pm but now Rawon Setan open for 24 hours.
