Hi there ! Yesterday I went to Ampel with Ahong, Ale, &
Tonpa. We spent so much time there. First, we go there on the afternoon. So
many merchant, they sell many kurma, moslem’s outfit, holy qur’an, rosary, perfume,
traditional food, and moslem’s books. One thing that you’ll be remember from
this place is the fragrance of the perfume (I think it’s the most fragrant
place in Surabaya). The fragrance spread everywhere, cool fragrance, keraton fragrance,
casablanca fragrance, and the others make this place very luxury and
comfortable. Before you bought, you can try that perfume for free as long as
you want (as long as you won’t take it home *haha*).
A long road with people
who offering their goods. It’s called Pasar Ampel. They sell what your need all
about moslems. Futhermore, in Ampel you can find many hotel an inn which can
used to stay overnight. there’s 5 hotels which located near ampel, consist of Andalus
Hotel, Quds Royal Hotel, Grand Kalimas Hotel, Mesir Hotel, and Ibis Hotel. Actually
Ampel has been popular by Ampel Mosque which located in the center of Ampel
region. That was the oldest mosque at East Java. That’s why Ampel has called
religion region. Ampel still crowded even when it was working day. Many travelers
keep coming everyday and many of them was coming by bus. Meanwhile, my home is
near Ampel so I can visit ampel just by walking *giggle*.

In the night We come back to Ampel to explore that place once
again, promptly at 23.14. We started to go there by walking. It’s almost
midnight, but it’s still crowded there, many of traveler Looking for some food
? Well, Even it was midnight, They still have Kebab, Gulai maryam, Sate, Bakso,
and Kebuli Rice which ready to serve :3
